REQUIREMENTS

The successful engineering or MCA candidate will have extensive commercial experience in
website development and support, excellent client facing and project delivery skills. Being
proactive, organised and adaptable, you’ll need to keep close attention to detail, even under
pressure. With some Business Intelligence / Web Analytics awareness, you will be solutions
oriented and have superb documentation and presentation skills.

Essential technical skills
• Minimum of 3.5 years proven ASP.NET C# development experience up to and including
.NET 3.5 in a commercial web development environment.
• Minimum of 1 year proven EpiServer Content Management System based development
experience in a commercial web development environment
• Experience in SQL Server & T-SQL (Tables and Procedures)
• Proven technical experience of:
o HTML
o JavaScript & jQuery
• Proven problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to drive through technical
challenges.
• Excellent communication and written skills, with an emphasis towards collaborative
teamwork.
• Continually updates technology skills.
Additonal technical skills
o XML
o SOAP
o AJAX
o Consuming Webservices
o Developing Windows Services and Windows applications
o IIS 6.0 and IIS 7.0

We seek a passionate, innovative web developer who has proven experience of the full project
lifecycle and can provide technical solutions to meet clients’ business requirements.

Responsibilities
• Assist the client with definition of requirements to meet their business objectives
• Produce technical proposals/specifications to meet the requirements
• Code software to the required technical specification and standards
• Test and review software to ensure quality is maintained
• Maintain technical documentation
• Provide technical support to the project manager and other team members
• Provide ongoing applications support to the client
• Provide training/mentoring to team members
• Ensure code standards are maintained & improved
• Reports to the Project Manager and provides regular progress updates
• Support the Project Manager with technical/detailed proposals and planning
